Since I was a boy you sure looked good to me

The lunar eclipse was on tonight, I was fortunate enough for more than one facebook buddy to reflect this in their status, and had a peek outside later. Later as in 5 am. It was pretty amazing, it was cloudy when I walked outside, but the clouds began to break open and the moon became incredibly illuminated. The above picture seems to almost have a spiral thing going on. The moon rocks.

Sometimes things just click

Hello...whoever is reading. All ten million of you. Have at you, self-deprecating openings! Actually, you probably just got this link from facebook. Whoever you are, I hope you enjoy my photo blogs. Red Dead Redemption is a fantastic game. The proof is in this image, this game is made of love.




Butterflies are magnificent insects, and as with many other creatures of beauty (macaw, birds of paradise, snow tigers, brumbies, yetis) they're elusive. Seldom seen, harder to capture through a viewfinder, unless of course you're packing some ninja camera with a telephoto lens. Strangely this butterfly came inside a house, at night, and perched itself on a lamp among a variety of lesser winged entities. I grabbed the shot, and later we found it's body. R.I.P little elusive buddy.



Kimba is not impressed.



The band I am in, Belligerent Goat, had our first experience with professional recording this week. Professional as in, not my iPhone. Our good friend owns the gear, and had a week free of slavery, I don't really do stuff in the day, so, all was set. It was a good week, we didn't spend as much time knuckling down as we would've liked, but schedules (and egos) clashed, and it was our first time being any sorts of serious. However, we learnt a lot, and managed to bang out a full song in little over 4 takes. The song is Guns Ltd. and is pretty good I think. I will upload it soon and share it with those who deserve to hear such awesome music. Moral is, music rules, listening is great...but making it, that's something else. It's connecting without words, .. or genitalia. It's sick.
